Hafnia – Presentation of Q3 quarterly report 2022

The report will most likely be published in the morning and based on what we have seen from peers we should expect record high numbers. Hafnia itself does not provide financial guidance, but according to Refinitiv consensus expectations are for revenue (TCE Income) of USDm 436, which in that case will be the best quarter in the company's history. For comparison, the figure in Q3 2021 was USDm 88.7. For the full year, the market expects a turnover of USDm 1,396.
EBITDA is also expected to follow up with a level in Q3 2022 of USDm 338. This is almost 10-fold the level a year ago of USDm 39.75.
Hafnia started paying a quarterly dividend earlier this year and for Q2 2022 in August it was USD 0.1862 per share which then corresponded to NOK 1.80 per share or around 4% of the share price at the time. This corresponded to a total of USDm 93.1 or exactly 50% of Net Profit of USDm 186.2. The analysts expect a Net Profit for Q3 2022 of USDm 262.8, corresponding to a dividend of USDm 131.4. Converted to per share, assuming 503.39 million outstanding shares, it corresponds to USD 0.2610 or NOK 2.72, which is a yield of approx. 4.7% at the current share price and exchange rate.
